Job summary

STAND 8 Technology Consulting seeks a Technical Product Owner to bridge business objectives and technical delivery for SLA-driven live streaming initiatives. You will plan, prioritize backlogs, and drive sprint execution across engineering and operations.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in Agile product roles, strong collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of streaming technology and metadata workflows. This contract role offers global and US opportunities.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
Experience in live streaming platforms, media orchestration, or broadcast technology preferred.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
Strong documentation and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Lead product planning, backlog prioritization, and sprint execution using Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams–including engineering, operations, and other product owners—to ensure seamless orchestration of live streaming events.
Define and communicate product requirements, success metrics, and delivery timelines for SLA-driven streaming initiatives.
Oversee the processing and management of live stream metadata, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency.
Translate business and technical needs into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
Participate in sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stand-ups to maintain alignment with strategic product goals.
Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize features that enhance live streaming performance and user experience.
Monitor delivery quality, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to technical and operational SLAs.
