Job summary

TrustedTech is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to own the proprietary billing, subscription management, and CPQ platform. You will shadow the VP, Product, during onboarding and then take ownership of day-to-day roadmapping and delivery with the engineering team.

This is a technical role requiring fluency with API specs, data models, and direct technical conversations with engineers. Onsite hours are Monday–Friday at the Irvine location.

Responsibilities

• Shadow the VP, Product, on requirements-gathering across five core domains: billing, subscription lifecycle, invoicing, CPQ, provisioning.
• Own the platform roadmap and backlog with a transparent, prioritized backlog.
• Document edge cases and workflow nuances: proration, co-terming, renewals, credits, refunds, and overages.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specs and acceptance criteria for engineers.
• Model commerce scenarios: monthly, annual, multi-year terms, price changes at renewal, usage-based products.
• Ensure deal economics (margin, discount, total value) are reflected in the quoting flow.
• Coordinate with the Salesforce team on accounts, opportunities, quotes, assets integration.
• Collaborate with Data & Insights on data flows, analytics dependencies.
• Define reconciliation processes for subscription state across systems.
• Lead agile ceremonies with the engineering team; assist with UAT planning and releases.
• Track progress against the VP, Product-approved roadmap and Platform Steering Committee.
