Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the AI-Native Endpoint Generation product family, translating scientific and business intent into a technical roadmap and backlog.

You will collaborate with the Business Lead, engineers, data scientists, and external partners to ensure architectural coherence, timely delivery, and platform integrity across the Labs of Tomorrow portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical/scientific field and 8+ years in software product ownership or engineering leadership.
Experience translating ambiguous scientific or business requirements into clear technical specifications.
Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience: backlog management, story writing, sprint planning, release management.

Responsibilities

Own the technical backlog and delivery roadmap for the DAR product family, translating strategic vision into epics and stories.
Partner with the Business Lead as a joint leadership pair, owning technical feasibility and platform integrity.
Translate AI-native discovery workflows into clear technical requirements and designs with engineers and data scientists.
Support sprint planning and release management, ensuring de-risked, well-specified work.
Make technical trade-off decisions (build vs. buy, debt vs. new capabilities) aligned with priorities.
Ensure solutions reflect real lab workflows and scientific methods, not just documented requirements.
Coordinate with ELN/LIMS, compound registration, HTE, and data platforms for architectural alignment.
Manage risks and blockers across engineering, data, ML, and infrastructure teams with stakeholders.
