Job summary

Takeda Cambridge seeks a Technical Product Owner to lead the technical delivery for AI-native large molecule discovery software. You will translate scientific vision into a buildable roadmap and own engineering execution, quality, and platform integrity across the product family.

You will collaborate with the Business Lead, architects, data scientists, and external partners to ensure architectures are scalable, integrated with ELN/LIMS, and aligned to real laboratory workflows guiding discovery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or related field plus 8+ years in software product ownership or engineering leadership.
Biology knowledge and hands-on biology lab experience to understand medicinal/computational biology workflows.
Strong Agile/Scrum grounding: backlog management, story writing, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, release management.
Hands-on technical background to engage with software engineers, data scientists, and ML scientists.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the technical backlog and delivery roadmap for the Large molecule discovery product family.
Translate scientific vision into epics, user stories, and technically sequenced releases.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, data scientists, and ML scientists on requirements and designs.
Ensure integration with ELN/LIMS and other platforms, and maintain architectural coherence across the product suite.
