Job summary

Pulse Electronics, a YAGEO Group company, seeks a Technical Product Manager to drive automotive power magnetics growth in North America from Detroit, MI. You will align customer needs with technical capabilities and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to seize opportunities.

You will translate market trends into actionable plans, support design-in and validation, and manage opportunities through direct customer interactions and Salesforce-driven processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management and/or design engineering, preferably with a semiconductor company or with power supply design.
  • Experience in product marketing, project management, and business development.
  • Strong knowledge of magnetic theory; hands-on transformer design experience preferred.
  • Power electronics background and familiarity with engineering or simulation tools preferred.
  • Ability to address customer technical questions with clear product, competitor, and pricing insights.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused, and comfortable working across functions.

Responsibilities

Summary

Pulse Electronics / YAGEO is seeking a Technical Product Manager within the Detroit, MI area. This role will support the growth of our Automotive business across North America, working closely with customers and internal teams to identify new opportunities, support business development initiatives, and help drive product strategy. The Technical Product Manager will serve as an important connection between customer needs, market opportunities, and our technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
