Job summary
Long Tail Health Solutions Inc. is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Healthcare Interoperability & Integration to own EMR integration across AppealAssist and CareAssist.
You will translate complex healthcare data requirements into clear specs and collaborate with engineering on designs and onboarding. Required: 4+ years in product/technical PM, experience with EMR systems (Epic/Cerner), and knowledge of HL7/FHIR and Azure DevOps/Confluence.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of product or technical product management experience, with direct experience integrating with EMR systems (Epic and/or Cerner) in a healthcare SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7v2, FHIR, ADT feeds) and EMR integration patterns.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and requirements for EMR integration across both AppealAssist and CareAssist.
- Scope and support integration work for new customer onboarding, including EMR-specific configuration.
- Own requirements for admin/tenant configuration to manage settings.
- Maintain consistent integration patterns across both products to avoid duplication or divergence.
- Work with engineering to scope, sequence, and validate integration builds.
- Serve as the product-side technical point of contact for customer IT/informatics teams during implementation.
