Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc in Austin, TX seeks a Technical Product Manager with FPGA, RF, and DSP expertise to define strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle management for RF/DSP/FPGA-based embedded products.

The role combines hands-on engineering insight with product leadership, translating complex RF/DSP concepts into market-ready requirements and compelling business cases for executive review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or defense/embedded tech markets.
• Strong understanding of RF-to-digital chain and FPGA processing.
• Experience translating concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Ability to communicate complex RF/DSP/FPGA tech to varied stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product strategy for RF/DSP/FPGA solutions within the portfolio.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs and tech trends.
• Translate requirements into compelling product strategies.
• Develop business cases and present recommendations to executives.
• Lead NPI from initial requirements through launch.
• Evaluate competitors, architectures, and form factors.
• Manage product-line financial performance (revenue, cost, profitability).
• Partner with engineering to define requirements and priorities.
• Engage with sales, customers, and partners to identify opportunities.
• Develop technical presentations, collateral, and training materials.
• Support secure customer engagements as required.
• Monitor portfolio performance and guide enhancements.
