Job summary

Allstate Foundation is seeking a Technical Product Manager to define strategy and roadmap for technical products within Billing and Payments. The role partners with engineering, design, and finance to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes, balancing long-term platform health with near-term value.

The ideal candidate has deep technical fluency, a data-driven mindset, and experience managing enterprise-scale billing or financial platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience leading technical products, platforms, APIs, services, or data products.
• Experience in billing, payments, or adjacent financial platforms, preferably in regulated environments.
• Partner with engineering and architecture on systems thinking, design, data flows, reliability and scalability.
• Proven track record of defining strategy and using metrics to drive prioritization and outcomes.
• Experience leading discovery and experimentation to validate assumptions and guide direction.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a technical product or platform in Billing and Payments.
• Own outcomes by establishing success measures, tracking performance, and using data to inform decisions.
• Lead discovery to validate customer, business, and operational assumptions before scaling solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering to shape platform direction and prioritize work across features and debt.
• Translate complex problems into sequenced investments with measurable value and dependencies.
• Represent the voice of customer and enterprise by combining insights with stakeholder needs.
• Drive alignment across business, technology, design, and operations for adoption.
• Manage and prioritize backlog to balance delivery with strategic outcomes.
• Write, refine, and accept stories to enable effective execution by the team.
• Communicate direction, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
