Job summary

Axle, a NYC-based startup, is hiring a Technical Product Manager to bridge product and engineering. You’ll translate complex business workflows into clear technical requirements and help customers during implementations, where configuration, integrations, data, and new capabilities meet.

You'll shape the roadmap, write precise specs, and collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering to ensure scalable, reusable solutions. A strong curiosity and systems thinking are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience shipping features from definition through launch.
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on product experience in APIs, integrations, data-heavy systems, or other technically complex products.
• Systems thinking: reason through workflows, data, permissions, integrations, and downstream surfaces.
• Product judgment: separate problems from solutions, challenge assumptions, and turn ambiguous needs into clear, scalable approaches.
• Collaborative, questioning mindset with ownership and drive.

Responsibilities

• Shape the roadmap and own features from definition through launch.
• Write clear, technically informed specs highlighting dependencies, edge cases, data implications, integrations, and workflows.
• Bring the right people in early with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering to resolve questions.
• Scope integrations and implementations across APIs, CRM, email, SSO, data migrations, and configuration.
• Turn recurring needs across customers into reusable capabilities and self-serve tooling.
