Axle, a NYC-based startup, is hiring a Technical Product Manager to bridge product and engineering. You’ll translate complex business workflows into clear technical requirements and help customers during implementations, where configuration, integrations, data, and new capabilities meet.
You'll shape the roadmap, write precise specs, and collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering to ensure scalable, reusable solutions. A strong curiosity and systems thinking are essential to succeed.
Axle is building the intelligent infrastructure for how capital moves on Wall Street.
Trillions of dollars in institutional capital move through relationships, meetings, and decisions that still run on spreadsheets, email chains, and decade-old tools. This is the layer where markets actually move. We've replaced all of it with one platform, powered by AI agents that strip out the manual work and give bankers strategic leverage. Axle is quickly becoming the operating system for Wall Street's most important relationships.
The investment banks already running on Axle treat us as mission-critical, and we're just getting started.
Our founding team combines Wall Street experience with engineering excellence, from firms like Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, AWS, and Capital One. We lived the problem firsthand and built the platform we wished existed. Our tight-knit NYC team is backed by top-tier VCs and former leaders from JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, and Citadel.
We're hiring a Technical Product Manager to strengthen the technical side of our product function. You'll work closely with our Product Lead, Design, QA, and Engineering to turn complex business and customer workflows into clear, technically informed requirements. You'll also play a key role in customer implementations, where configuration, integrations, data, and new capabilities meet.
This role suits someone who likes digging into how a product works, asking the right questions early, and connecting business needs with technical execution.
You'll sit where product strategy, technical execution, and the systems our customers rely on every day all meet. You'll have real input into what we build and how the platform scales, with very few layers between spotting a problem and seeing the solution in bankers' hands.
We're a startup serving institutions that operate under real pressure, and sometimes that pressure lands on us. There will be long hours or off-hours responses when a customer, go-live, or deal demands it. We ask everyone to carry real weight. In exchange, you get outsized ownership, a steep learning curve, and a seat at the center of how markets work. We're in our Flatiron office five days a week because we build faster together.
