Job summary

Axle Labs in New York and Atlanta is seeking Product Engineers to join as early members, helping build the platform that enables safe inference on complex financial data and agentic decisioning.

You'll work across data extraction, validation, and verification; tackling tough problems with real-world customer impact and the potential to shape our product roadmap.

We are looking for talented engineers to join our team as early members.

As a Product Engineer, you’ll help build the platform that makes this possible. From applying safe inference to complex financial data to using agents for mission-critical decisioning, you’ll have the chance to wear a lot of hats and shape the future of our platform.

We’re looking for individuals who think creatively about problems, push for real-world customer impact, and are excited about helping financial data reach full connectivity. We're powering mission-critical insurance data extraction, validation, and verification at companies where if we get things wrong, there are real world impacts (e.g., denied lending applications, modified compliance statuses, etc.).

Here's a few of the complex problems you’ll be working on:

• Building industry-first evals for insurance data extractors and transformers

• Integrating context and understanding to standardize high-variability data points

• Understanding data management and hierarchy across overlapping data ingestors

• Orchestrating self-healing agents that automatically gets better over time

What would set you up for success

• 1+ years of experience (or equivalent) building complex systems in production environments.

• Ability to take abstract projects end-to-end, operating with high agency.

• Experience in fintech or data aggregation high-growth startups is a plus.
