Job summary

ROCKWOOL is hiring a Technical Operator for our Byhalia, MS facility. You will operate production equipment, monitor settings, and document quality data to ensure safe, high-quality output. The role includes startup/shutdown activities and routine adjustments to sustain steady production flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Operate production equipment safely in an industrial setting.
• Follow written work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Monitor controls and machine conditions and respond to changes.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and know when to escalate issues.
• Complete production, quality, and safety records accurately.
• Support production schedules by startup/shutdown/changeover tasks.

Join us as a Technical Operator at our Byhalia, MS manufacturing facility (4594 Cayce Road) as a Technical Operator working 6:00PM-6:30AM, with days off rotating on a 2-2-3 basis .

Your Future Team

You'll be a critical part of our production operations, working hand-on to maintain smooth facility operations and ensure consistent, high-quality output. You'll collaborate daily with production staff, quality assurance personnel, and maintenance teams, all working toward the same goal: keeping our operations running efficiently while upholding the safety and quality standards that define ROCKWOOL.

Compensation

• $20 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

• Ability to operate manufacturing, production, or processing equipment safely in an industrial setting.
• Ability to follow written work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards consistently.
• Ability to monitor controls, readings, or machine conditions and respond to changes.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and know when to elevate equipment issues.
• Ability to complete production, quality, and safety records accurately.
• Ability to support production schedules by performing start-up, shutdown, and changeover tasks in an on-site industrial environment.
• Ability to safely handle materials and follow safe work practices in an industrial production environment.
