Job summary

NCBioTech in Wilson, NC seeks a Technician (Technical) in Operations to operate and maintain manufacturing and packaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure GMP-compliant production of high-quality products. The role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work under pressure across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• More than 2 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing facility.
• Experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and/or repairing industrial equipment.
• Basic mechanical and electrical system understanding.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment using a systematic approach.
• Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work various shifts and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing and packaging equipment to meet production standards per GMPs and SOPs.
• Complete line clearance, cleaning and inspection with required documentation.
• Set up and adjust equipment using appropriate tools for alignment and clearances.
• Transport and organize processing equipment, materials, and products.
• Perform and document equipment challenges and in-process testing as required.
• First responder to equipment malfunctions; diagnose and adjust to return to operation.
• Escalate unresolved issues per guidelines to maintain efficiency.
• Assist maintenance with routine/non-routine tasks and parts retrieval.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and support site mission of quality and efficiency.
