As a Technical Operations Manager, ISP Operations, you will ensure reliable and efficient network operations, contribute to network expansion, monitor performance, perform maintenance, proactively address issues, and respond to connectivity challenges. Your role is critical in maintaining a stable network, ensuring our users stay connected to our applications, products, and services, and leading technical efforts for operational reliability.

Role Description

The Technical Operations ISP Manager oversees Inside Plant (ISP) deployment and ongoing maintenance of facilities and equipment across the market. You will ensure Central Office (CO) network operations are reliable, secure, and efficient by monitoring performance, managing maintenance and repairs, and addressing connectivity issues. This role reports directly to the Repair and Maintenance Operations Lead for the market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, provision, commission, and maintain all CO/HUT/PoP sites within the Market(s) Area, including testing and accepting new facility components such as structures, security, BNGs, HVAC, electrical systems, power, and backup systems.
  2. Participate in network design, growth, and maintenance with the broader market team.
  3. Create and maintain a comprehensive CO/HUT maintenance schedule, leveraging cross-market experiences and collaborating across teams.
  4. Coordinate with NOC and Plant Maintenance Technicians to facilitate maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
  5. Develop documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project updates to GFiber leadership.
  6. Assist with activation, testing, and acceptance of distribution fiber.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications, working with Inside Plant (ISP) or within a Data Center.
  • At least 5 years of vendor management experience with customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and budgets on large-scale projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years in telecommunications working with Inside Plant or Data Centers.
  • Experience managing large projects from start to finish successfully.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt as roles evolve.
  • Experience with change management processes and working with NOC teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time role is $114,000 - $126,000 plus bonus, cash awards, and benefits. Salary varies by location; your recruiter will share specific details during hiring.
