Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing leader to translate complex security and data platform features into clear, business-focused messaging.

You will build demos, blogs, webinars, and events, collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and marketing, and drive go-to-market initiatives while reporting to Marketing leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in technical marketing with a strong security focus or equivalent in data center solution design/implementation
• Experience with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP
• CISSP certification is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 30% (US and global)
• Must have legal right to work in the job location

• Develop technical marketing strategies and assets, including demos, blogs, webinars, podcasts, and event presentations
• Build and deliver compelling demos and presentations showcasing Cohesity's security and data platform capabilities
• Translate complex technical features into messaging tailored to practitioners, IT leaders, and executive stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, and marketing teams on go-to-market initiatives
• Develop and articulate technical thought leadership through speaking engagements, analyst briefings, and industry presence
• Align security strategies with Cohesity solutions to strengthen market positioning and credibility
• Influence product direction by bringing customer and field insights into product and marketing discussions
• Operate and maintain a technical demo environment and deploy new technologies to support demo work
• Report to Marketing leadership

Requirements

• Must have English language proficiency in a professional and specialized setting
• Proven experience in technical product marketing and/or product management for enterprise software or infrastructure technologies
• Strong hands-on experience with security technologies, data protection, storage, and virtualization environments
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making
• Experience with strategy and execution of ideas
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-aligned messaging
• Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or GCP
• Strong storytelling, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP are a plus
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 15+ years of experience in technical marketing with a strong security focus, or equivalent experience in data center solution design and implementation
• Ability to travel up to 30% (US and global)
• Must have legal right to work in the job location
• Candidates outside the designated area must be committed to relocating prior to their start date
