Job summary

Winrock International seeks a Technical Manager for Industrial Programs focused on Mine Methane Capture. This role supports the ACR Registry by reviewing GHG reduction projects, maintaining records, performing site visits, and ensuring timely progress through the registry with high technical standards.

The position requires strong technical and policy analysis, leadership, and the ability to mentor junior staff, with travel for short-term assignments and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree required in environmental, natural, or physical sciences; engineering; or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in mine methane capture, GHG accounting, and verification/auditing standards.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Outlook and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex GHG emissions reduction project reviews on time and accurately.
• Provide technical support to external stakeholders on project implementation, verification, and review.
• Support registry usage for external stakeholders and maintain project record-keeping systems.
• Attend site visits and conduct audits as assigned.
• Lead methodology development updates and mentor junior staff.
