Job summary

Tradewater is seeking an Environmental Project Manager (Engineering) to advance its methane mitigation and carbon credit initiatives. The role blends field work on wells with collaboration across a development team, emphasizing safe operations and data-driven decisions.

The position is largely remote and open to candidates across the continental U.S. or Canada, with travel up to 50% during peak periods. A bachelor’s in engineering and gas/oil field experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
  • 3–5 years of field-based oil and gas operations experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and work with external contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage orphaned oil and gas well plugging projects from identification to emissions measurement and plugging.
  • Lead emissions quantification field work and oversee contractor operations.
  • Coordinate multi-project pipeline progress and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
