Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a software/IT professional to design, develop, and integrate software applications from a Chicago-based HQ. The role involves coordinating a team, leading technical efforts, and delivering client-specific solutions across multiple deadlines.

The compensation range is $153,317 - $192,460 per year, with relocation assistance and potential telecommuting 2-3 days weekly depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Master's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Technology, Business, or related, and 2 years of experience in IT or related.
• Bachelor's or equivalent in the above fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Additionally, 1 year of experience in any 4 tools/technologies across specified categories with at least 2 from one category.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, customize, and integrate software applications under the direction of a Senior Manager.
• Coordinate efforts of lower-level team members while serving as technical lead and mentor.
• Responsible for software-specific design, testing, deployment, and release management of client-specific solutions.
• Gather and analyze client business requirements and design and develop computer systems.
• Define systems strategy and develop requirements.
• Identify and manage scope activities, engage with customer, and resolve escalations.
• Forecast work and plan team support for deployments.
• Design interfaces to external systems and coordinate software installation and customization.
• Perform integration testing, user acceptance testing, and QA to identify issues.
