Job summary

Capgemini, based in Chicago, is seeking a Senior Consultant (Applications Consultant) to design, develop, enhance, customize, and integrate software applications. You will coordinate with junior team members and guide them while gathering client requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

The role entails analyzing existing applications, implementing improvements, and managing testing, deployment, and release processes. Domestic travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 2 years IT experience.
• Experience with one of the following: Eclipse, JIRA, SQL; Git, Jenkins, SQL; GitHub, Python, Tableau; or HTML, CSS, and Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, customize, and integrate software applications.
• Coordinate with lower-level team members and guide them through delivery.
• Gather requirements and translate them into system specifications.
