Job summary
GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking a Technical Leader to guide the Project Engineering team. You will lead engineering execution for wind farm, repower and CM&U projects and act as the primary liaison between engineering, project management, supply chain, the site team, customers and subcontractors.
You will translate project requirements into engineering deliverables, manage resources, drive process improvements, and ensure all equipment and software deliverables meet digital thread
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science or related field.
- 8+ years' engineering and technology experience with project leadership.
- Ability and availability to travel 10% of the year.
Responsibilities
- Translating project requirements into product definition and issue bills of materials to supply chain
- Creating and/or facilitate project specific engineering instructions as well as customer & commissioning documentation
- Providing timely & accurate responses to customer and field teams technical inquiries through final acceptance
- Provide technical leadership, advice and assistance to the overall project team
- Drive process & standardization around project execution tasks
- Lead process improvement efforts related to project engineering
- Drive lessons learned back into the design engineering organizations
- Liaise between customers and Engineering regarding balance of plant equipment and interfaces
- Facilitate configuration of control software and parameters
- Coordinate, schedule, and communicate with resources to complete deliverables
