Job summary

The City of New York’s Office of Technology and Innovation seeks a hands-on Technical Lead for WCMS to deliver mission-critical City information using Adobe Experience Manager, OpenText Web CMS, and WordPress.

Lead engineering efforts, define standards, mentor staff, and drive automated deployment and scalable content delivery across multiple platforms to support public services and digital government initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or related field required; 3+ years of IT leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of IT experience in applications/systems development.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience with supervisory duties accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for WCMS architecture, development, and delivery of AEM solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reusable templates and services.
• Lead DevOps improvements to automate deployments and improve reliability and productivity.
• Mentor team members, enforce coding standards, and conduct code reviews.
