Job summary

Wilhelmsen Group seeks an experienced Technical Lead to design, develop, and evolve its IFS Cloud platform within a global ERP program. You will provide technical direction, architecture governance, and platform evolution to support enterprise-scale operations across regions.

You will mentor developers, govern code quality, and partner with business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable integrations and reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Extensive experience with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud (10+ years).
Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture, integrations, and ERP ecosystems.
Experience leading technical teams and guiding developers across complex initiatives.
Expertise in IFS customizations, extensions, reporting, and deployment processes.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps, and release management.
Excellent business process understanding with strong technical capabilities.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical design, development, and continuous improvement of the IFS Cloud platform.
Review, approve, and govern technical designs, customizations, extensions, and code quality.
Establish and enforce development standards, documentation, and technical governance.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers, consultants, and solution architects.
Ensure upgrade-safe, sustainable designs and secure access controls across systems.
Own planning, design, and implementation of integrations between IFS Cloud and enterprise systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and solutions.
Design and execute deployment, release strategies, and lifecycle management.
Monitor platform performance and stability; drive continuous improvements.
Partner with vendors and stakeholders to deliver high-value ERP initiatives.
