Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Technical Lead to drive DoD cloud solutions from Fairfax, VA in a hybrid on-site/remote capacity. You will architect secure DoD environments, lead a multidisciplinary team, and coordinate with government representatives to ensure compliant, scalable, and cost-effective delivery.

You will manage secure cloud architectures, contribute to DevOps practices, and guide ongoing modernization across Linux/Windows servers, AWS components, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT platform fundamentals experience.
• 5+ years delivering and sustaining technical and cloud solutions with a supporting team.
• 5+ years customer-facing cloud projects (AWS preferred).
• Experience administrating Linux and Windows servers (patch, STIG, troubleshoot).
• Experience with DevOps tooling and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of network security practices and DoD cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, configure, and manage secure DoD environments.
• Monitor security compliance, remediations, and patch management for unclassified and DoD networks.
• Lead a multidisciplinary engineers team and coordinate with customers and partners.
• Install, test, maintain, and upgrade OS and network software to meet DoD requirements.
• Implement and maintain security controls (ICAM, firewalls, proxies).
• Drive risk mitigation activities including A&A, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability management.
