Job summary

Element Electronics in Edina, MN is seeking a Technical Lead to build and lead an in‑house development team responsible for manufacturing, distribution, and corporate systems.

You will own the SDLC for .NET services and front‑end apps, drive security by design, and guide integration with NetSuite and other enterprise platforms while partnering with operations and finance to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including enterprise architecture and systems integration; 3+ years leading developers.
• Solid understanding of C#/.NET (ASP.NET, Web APIs, Entity Framework) and SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth/OIDC), and enterprise integration patterns; experience integrating with ERP platforms via their APIs.
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling a development team, including hiring and mentoring.
• Agile delivery experience: backlog management, ceremonies, cross‑team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a blended team of internal engineers and partner resources to move core knowledge and ownership in-house.
• Own the SDLC for custom development: source control, branching strategy, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, environment and release management.
• Embed security‑by‑design across the SDLC and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Design, build, and maintain custom applications using C#/.NET on the back end and React/Next.js/TypeScript on the front end.
• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise systems via APIs and integration platforms.
