Job summary
BTI is seeking a Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain a complex filing application for federal use. The role requires deep cloud, security, and integration expertise.
You will collaborate with Product Owners, IT FPM, and SMEs to translate requirements into scalable, secure designs within an Agile team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in IT, strong experience in React JS front-ends, SQL databases, and Login.gov authentication, plus ETL, Jira, GitLab/Jenkins, and accessibility
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a relevant IT field.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible IT experience including design and development.
- Experience translating business requirements into system design and development.
- Experience with front-end development using React JS and modern web tech.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL scripts, views, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Experience implementing user authentication using Login.gov (IAL-1).
- Experience in ETL processes to load data from external sources.
- Experience with Agile development and Jira.
- Experience in DevSecOps environments using GitLab and Jenkins.
- Experience with testing automation and security vulnerability remediation.
- Experience ensuring accessibility compliance (Section 508).
- Ability to provide accurate estimates for design and programming efforts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a complex filing application from end to end.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and FPM to understand requirements.
- Contribute in major design decisions and work with SMEs and stakeholders.
- Work in an Agile framework to deliver scalable solutions.
- Craft architecture that integrates with existing infrastructure securely.
- Identify opportunities to build platform-based solutions for users.
