Job summary

Business Technology Integrators (BTI) in Washington, DC seeks a Technical Lead to drive end-to-end development of filing applications with a strong cloud and security focus. You will partner with Product Owners, IT Federal Project Manager, SMEs, and end users to translate requirements into scalable, secure designs within an Agile framework.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in IT, hands-on front- and back-end skills, and a track record guiding architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with design and development.
• Experience translating business requirements to system design.
• Frontend development experience with modern tech like React JS.
• Experience with databases, SQL scripts, views, triggers, procedures.
• Experience implementing Login.gov authentication (IAL-1).
• ETL development experience and data loading from external sources.
• Agile development using Jira; DevSecOps with GitLab/Jenkins.
• Testing automation, security scanning, and accessibility (Section 508).
• Ability to estimate design efforts from business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the filing application end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Federal Project Manager on requirements.
• Participate in major design decisions and agile iterations.
• Ensure architecture scales with evolving needs and security constraints.
• Implement authentication, ETL pipelines, and platform-based solutions.
• Maintain accessibility compliance and provide effort estimates.
