Job summary

Business Technology Integrators (BTI) is seeking a Cloud Architect to design and oversee scalable, secure cloud solutions for federal and civilian programs. The role involves translating complex business needs into robust architectures, establishing governance, and guiding cross-functional teams through cloud transformation initiatives.

Candidates should have extensive cloud platform experience and strong security/compliance expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or industry certifications preferred.
Extensive experience in cloud computing architecture and design across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
8+ years in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and multi-service architectures.
Experience with government security standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST) and implementing compliant cloud solutions.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, microservices, and serverless computing.
Proficiency in scripting and programming for automation and infra management.
Experience in risk assessment, cloud security, and best practices.
Strong leadership and ability to guide cross-functional teams; US Citizenship required.
