Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Technical Lead for the Galileo team to drive the architecture of AV testing and data pipelines, shaping technical vision and enabling scalable analysis for vehicle releases and autonomous driving validation.

You will mentor engineers, promote best practices, and build tools to support fast, reliable software across the organization. Remote work with on-site options is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building high-quality software with customer focus.
• Experience with SOA or microservices, large-scale distributed systems, and cloud platforms AWS/GCP.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities; capable of mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical architect, help define vision and strategy, and align team direction with company objectives.
• Design and implement systems capable of simulating millions of miles daily to predict on-road performance.
• Improve and deliver reliable software through CI, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Drive software engineering best practices and develop tools that promote standards company-wide.
• Develop and oversee top-tier engineers within a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Help define and embody GM engineering culture and principles.
