Job summary

Sogeti is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive end-to-end application development across onshore and offshore pods. You’ll leverage Angular and Java Spring Boot to deliver robust cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on debugging, performance, and code quality.

You will mentor teams, establish technical standards, and guide the lifecycle from design through deployment. Strong CI/CD expertise and familiarity with Playwright testing complete the profile.

Job description

Details Ability to lead the pod(s) of engineers (onshore/offshore) responsible for end-to-end application development. This role requires deep expertise in both front-end (Angular) and back-end (Java Spring Boot) technologies, along with proficiency in debugging and optimizing code. Cloud knowledge, particularly Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) is critical

Technical Skillset

• Strong experience with Angular (version 16+), Java Spring Boot, and relational databases (PostgresSQL)
• Extensive experience with cloud-native application development and deployment
• Familiarity with GKE or similar container orchestration platforms Agile framework and tools like Rally, JIRA for sprint management
• Debugging and performance optimization techniques, feature flagging
• Technical Leadership Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and setting standards across the development lifecycle
• Experience in conducting code reviews, problem-solving, and ensuring code meets acceptance criteria
• Ability to mentor team members and provide guidance on technical skills and project alignment CI/CD Pipeline Setup:
• Hands-on experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Harness, Argo CD, and CircleCI
• Expertise in automating workflows and deployments through pipelines Familiarity with testing automation tools like Playwright

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
