Job summary

Sogeti, part of Capgemini, is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable APIs and microservices. You will build cloud-native apps on AWS, using Lambda, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes, while collaborating with product owners and architects to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will implement best practices for performance, reliability, security, and monitoring, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to documentation and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise automation solutions.
  • Strong software development expertise in Node.js and Python, including application design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, Amazon EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, relational database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
  • Experience implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance application architectures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and operational procedures.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing enhancements to development, deployment, and support processes.
