Job summary

The Browser Company, a remote-friendly employer in the United States, seeks a Technical Lead for Developer Experience to guide an internal, AI-powered software generation and review platform. This role focuses on enabling engineers and PMs to move faster and more effectively across our AI-native stack.

You’ll partner with AI and infra teams to wire tooling, define metrics, and drive 10x leverage for the engineering organization, while contributing to a high-trust, autonomous culture with equity

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with developer tools and build environments.
• Experience owning a zero-to-one product or platform with founder-like autonomy.
• Passionate about building tools that make engineers more productive.
• Thrive in a high-trust, high-ambiguity environment.
• Requires 4+ hours overlap with team members in Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the “build how we build” platform: an internal SaaS-like experience where engineers and non-engineers can describe what they want, and our system realizes the rest.
• Partner with AI and infra teams to wire together AI coding tools, CI, AI code reviewers, evals, and prompt/model optimization into a cohesive product.
• Define success metrics for this platform and iterate quickly based on real usage and feedback from our engineers.
• Turn our DevEx stack into true leverage, so that every engineer and PM can move with 10x more impact.
