Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with distributed services, APIs, or transaction-processing platforms.
• Strong cloud-native engineering experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience designing API-first platforms with clear contracts, versioning, testing strategies, and developer experience.
• Proven technical leadership including architecture ownership, mentoring engineers, and driving design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secure checkout and payment APIs that AI agents can invoke reliably and deterministically.
• Architect and ship merchant-facing APIs and SDKs with strong documentation and sandbox flows.
• Set technical direction for a greenfield agentic commerce squad balancing speed, security, and extensibility.
• Provide hands-on leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
