Worldpay seeks a Technical Lead for Agentic Commerce Engineering to shape the future of autonomous payments at a global scale. You will define and build infrastructure enabling AI agents to discover products, compare options, build carts, and initiate purchases with trusted, tokenized, and auditable flows.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering with distributed services experience.
Proven architecture ownership and production ownership of APIs.
Strong cloud native exp across AWS/GCP/Azure.
Experience designing API-first platforms and developer experience.
Familiarity with AI-agent systems and safe payment flows.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the technical direction for a greenfield squad.
Review architectures, code, and mentor engineers.
Design secure, reliable APIs and SDKs for merchant integrations.
Collaborate with internal and external partners on standards.
