Job summary

RTX's Data, Analytics and AI organization is seeking a Technical Lead, AI Application Development to guide the design and delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions. You will provide hands-on technical leadership for a team building AI-enabled applications, including LLM-powered interfaces, with strong emphasis on Angular front-ends, Java backends, and secure, scalable architectures.

This role requires collaboration with stakeholders and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience.
• Design and develop full-stack enterprise web apps with modern frameworks.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Backend with Java and RESTful APIs (Spring Boot or similar).
• Strong OO, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Technical leadership and Agile/Scrum experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for AI-enabled enterprise apps.
• Design and develop full-stack Angular/Java applications.
• Integrate with LLM platforms and enterprise data sources.
• Mentor developers and review code.
• Promote CI/CD and secure, scalable software practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align roadmaps.
• Address performance, cybersecurity, and reliability issues.
