Job summary

RTX Enterprise Services seeks an experienced Applied AI Engineer to design, build, evaluate, and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions across RTX businesses. You will work with AI Architects, Platform Engineers, data teams and product groups to move ideas from prototypes to production and measurable outcomes.

You will apply Generative AI, large language models, retrieval, and agentic AI with a strong software engineering foundation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher degree in a STEM field with strong AI/ML focus.
3+ years hands-on experience deploying AI/ML in production.
Software engineering excellence including tested, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

Design, build, evaluate, and deploy production AI/ML solutions.
Create AI agents and workflows that interact with enterprise data and tools.
Develop retrieval and context-engineering solutions for enterprise data.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications via APIs and tools.
Evaluate models for quality, latency, cost, and reliability; measure outcomes.
Develop reusable AI components and end-to-end software for production deployment.
Monitor AI system behavior, diagnose issues, and improve reliability.
Collaborate with AI architecture, platform engineering, data, cybersecurity, and business teams to scale production solutions.
