Job summary

RTX is seeking a Platform Engineer to advance our data and AI capabilities. You will design, integrate, and deliver scalable, production-ready software and cloud solutions while collaborating with technical leaders and cross-functional teams.

You will contribute to AI/ML initiatives, automation, and engineering best practices across the organization. You will mentor engineers, develop documentation, and ensure reliability, maintainability, and performance of complex systems, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• ~3+ years of experience with data science and machine learning.
• ~3+ years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and software application / product development, including Python and the Python scientific stack.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience building products that use Large Language Models (LLMs) and LLM APIs.

• Collaborate with leadership, product managers, and stakeholders to advance RTX's data capabilities.
• Design, integrate, and deliver scalable, production-ready software and cloud solutions with CI/CD automation.
