Job summary

Stefanini is seeking a Technical Lead to join our Digital Talent Mall in Coral Gables, FL. This full-time, 12-month role centers on defining solution architectures, mentoring engineers, and delivering IT projects aligned with our bank client's strategic goals.

You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, DevOps, Data Engineering, BI, and Infrastructure teams while ensuring security, scalability, and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle of technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in software development and tuning as well as system architecture.
• Hands-on banking technologies and compliance knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture aligned with business goals and requirements, with a deep understanding of current systems.
• Define and communicate a clear vision for the desired future state of the organization’s technology and solutions.
• Work closely with Solutions Architects to ensure robustness, scalability, and alignment with the system architecture.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Collaborate with third party vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee development and implementation of technology solutions with security and compliance in mind.
• Ensure security, scalability, and efficiency of IT systems in partnership with Corporate Security Office.
• Robot with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance banking operations.

Job Details:

• The Tech Lead drives innovation, efficiency, and technical excellence within our IT department. As a key leader, you will define how the solution must look like integrated to the system landscape of the bank, oversee technical decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects that align with our bank's strategic goals.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the conceptualization and design of solutions aligned with business goals and requirements, supported by a deep understanding of the current state of systems.
• Defines and communicates a clear vision for the desired future state of the organization's technology and solutions.
• Works closely with Solutions Architects, integrating their expertise and guidance into the solution design process to ensure robustness, scalability, and alignment with the overall system architecture.

• Oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring that each stage of the process is aligned with the bank's security requirements, risk management protocols, and compliance standards by collaborating closely with the Corporate Security Office and relevant stakeholders.
• Integrate security best practices into software development and infrastructure management, proactively identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Ensure all technology solutions are scalable, efficient, and compliant with applicable financial sector regulations and internal governance controls.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide strategic solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance banking operations.
• Discuss technical implementation scenarios and collaborate closely with the DevOps team, Data Engineering, BI team, and Infrastructure Team to ensure effective deployment, integration, and ongoing support of technology solutions

Job Requirements Details:

• Language: Excellent Written/Verbal skills in English. Portuguese or Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role.
• Strong expertise in software development and tuning as well as system architecture
• Hands-on experience with banking technologies and compliance requirements is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
