Job summary

Avery Dennison Vestcom is hiring a Label Machine Operator to operate high‑tech labeling equipment and deliver quality products on a tight production schedule. The position starts at $20–$21 per hour and includes a $500 sign-on bonus, with multiple shifts available in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be accountable for equipment performance, data logging in the ERP system, and collaborating with teammates to maintain safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of related manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to analyze equipment performance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
• Color vision proficiency to distinguish product variations.

Responsibilities

• Operate label machines efficiently to meet daily production deadlines while minimizing material waste.
• Use your mechanical aptitude to monitor equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and identify root causes rather than 'band-aid' fixes.
• Maintain accurate logs of raw materials using our ERP system and ensure a 'zero-defect' mindset through close attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and collaborate with the production team to ensure overall site health.
