Job summary

Vestcom, a standalone unit within Avery Dennison, is seeking a Label Machine Operator to efficiently operate label machinery on a rotating shift in Texas. You will ensure high-quality labeling, monitor equipment, and document material usage in the ERP system.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, safety, and teamwork on a fast-paced production line with a starting rate of $20–$21 per hour and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of related manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to analyze equipment performance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
• Color vision proficiency to distinguish product variations.

Responsibilities

• Operate label machines to meet daily production deadlines while minimizing material waste.
• Monitor equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and identify root causes.
• Maintain accurate logs of raw materials using the ERP system.
• Keep a clean, safe work area and collaborate with the production team.
