Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a label line operator to run label machines and ensure production schedules are met on the designated shift. The role requires basic manufacturing experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities include minimizing waste, logging materials in ERP, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced environment. Overtime or alternate shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical skills to operate label machine equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates the label machines to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
• Minimize waste of raw materials.
• Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
• Keeps an accurate log of raw materials used in production; maintains FIFO inventory and documents cartons.
• Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area; follows all safety rules and PPE requirements.
• May be required to work overtime or on another shift.
