Job summary

Stiles Machinery Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an experienced trainer to teach advanced controls and operate and demonstrate machinery at a high skill level.

You will develop training programs, create documentation, and deliver both traditional and e-learning instruction while collaborating with the Instructional Design Team to build new educational structures. The role requires strong writing abilities and the ability to work independently or in teams.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years proven experience in course development and training of advanced controls
• Familiarity with CAD-based programs
• Background in production machinery
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Engineering or related field
• Spanish language fluency preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple levels of students on advanced subjects
• Program, operate and demonstrate machines at a high skilled level
• Provide instruction with both traditional and e-learning techniques
• Work with Instructional Design Team to create new educational structures
• Evaluate students following training sessions with tools provided
• Develop training documentation in line with corporate and accreditation standards
