Nmble is partnering with a global leader in warehouse and supply chain automation to staff its new technical training facility in Grand Rapids. We’re looking for two experienced electrical and controls trainers to deliver hands-on training to internal teams and customers who operate and maintain advanced material handling systems.

If you know PLCs inside and out and you enjoy teaching others, this is a chance to help launch a new training center from day one.

Qualifications

• Strong PLC skills and experience with PLC programming and industrial controls (Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred).
• 5+ years of experience delivering technical training on customized products or systems, ideally in material handling or automation with a controls focus.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems, machine diagnostics, repair, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret industrial mechanical and controls drawing sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail.
• A genuine desire to help others learn.

What You Bring

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Follow PPE requirements at all times
• Move around equipment in distribution environments, including bending, crouching, and reaching
• Climb ladders and multi-story steel stairways
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs of tools and equipment
• Stand and walk on concrete surfaces for long periods
• Use small hand tools
• Work in a range of temperatures, from freezer conditions to high heat, near hot surfaces and moving equipment
