Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide proposals/quotes for customized projects by deeply understanding customer needs, formulating effective analytical solutions, and delivering detailed statements of work.
• Develop customer opportunities into larger engagements through technical sales and relationship building.
• Maintain direct contact with customers to understand and craft specific value proposals for target customers.
• Support the sales team by building and sustaining positive customer relationships that enhance service quality and revenue.
• Focus of work may be in pre‑sale and/or post‑sale activities.
• Develop technical knowledge across a broad range of analytical methods.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Chemistry or equivalent in education and experience.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong communicator and active listener.
• Strong analytical and judgment skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Computers literate with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Could handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining good organizational skills.

Additional Information

Position is full‑time, Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with flexibility. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of St. Louis, MO are encouraged to apply.
