Job summary

Buehler, a division of ITW, is seeking an Inside Sales professional to own and grow a Pacific Northwest territory focused on education and research customers. You will identify opportunities, articulate technical value, and manage the full sales cycle with equipment and consumables.

This role requires a technical engineering degree and at least 2 years in a customer-facing technical role, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or similar technical field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in technical sales or customer-facing technical roles.
• Proven ability to articulate complex technical products and value propositions.
• Strong organizational skills and independent work style; ability to manage own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Territory Ownership: manage and grow the R&D Inside Sales territory (Pacific Northwest).
• Sales Execution: identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities for equipment and consumables.
• Technical Consulting: act as the primary technical resource for customers and propose solutions.
• Lab Collaboration: coordinate remote product demonstrations with the Application Lab.
• Field Travel: travel up to 20% alongside Field Sales Representative.
• Forecasting & Insight: maintain records and provide sales forecasts using CRM.
• Account Nurturing: build relationships with engineering and purchasing teams, especially universities.
• Inbound Support: take regular inbound calls to assist clients in product selection.
