Job summary

Planet Group in Indianapolis is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Consultant to support customers by phone, email, and occasionally in person. You will prepare quotes, process orders, and coordinate with production throughout the order lifecycle.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–3+ years in sales or customer support; a four-year degree may substitute for experience. Experience in building materials or fabrication is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and prepare quotes using CRM tools.
• Assist customers with scheduling, order changes, and post-order support.
• Coordinate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
• Verify pricing and incoming material quality.
• Promote additional products and services when appropriate.
• Resolve customer concerns related to products, services, or billing.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Growing company in the building products / fabrication industry is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Consultant to support customers via phone, email, and occasional in-person interaction. This role involves preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating with production, and supporting customers throughout the order lifecycle.

Requirements:
