Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. seeks a Technical/Functional Expert (HPC) to provide Tier 4 HPC support to NSAW and UDC sites. The role involves configuring and tuning HPC file systems (XFS, GPFS, Lustre) and distributed computing tools (RES, LSF, SLURM).

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of IT experience with 8570 IAT II certification. Responsibilities include advanced troubleshooting of HPC farm systems, managing RedHat/SUSE environments, and ensuring high availability of HPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 10 years of experience in a large/complex IT environment providing HPC/functional expertise.
• An additional 5 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• 8570 IAT Level II certification required.

Responsibilities

• Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced troubleshooting of high-performance file systems (XFS, GPFS, Lustre).
• Advanced troubleshooting of HPC farm systems and applications (Nagios, xcat, failover software, compilers).
• Experience with HPC MPP systems.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of distributed computing tools (RES, LSF, SLURM).
• Configuration and tuning of RedHat and SUSE operating systems.

Technical/Functional Expert (HPC) (TTO3)

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a Technical/Functional Expert (HPC) to Provide Tier 4 HPC support to NSAW and UDC sites.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of high- performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre.
• Advanced level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, and compilers.
• Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems.
• Configuration, tuning, testing and advanced level troubleshooting and support of distributed computing tools such as RES, LSF, and SLURM.
• Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of RedHat and Suse operating systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Ten (10) years’ experience in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise with the skills listed above.
• Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• 8570 IAT Level II Certification
