Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. seeks a Junior System Administrator to deliver High Performance Computing (HPC) support and sustainment capabilities.

The role includes troubleshooting, IT system maintenance, and Tier 1/2 help desk tasks to ensure reliable operations across client/server/storage/network devices. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience), 3+ years as a System Administrator in similar programs, and DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline; an additional five years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• At least three years of experience as a System Administrator in programs/contracts of similar scope.

Job description

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a Junior System Administrator to provide High Performance Computing (HPC) services in the form of HPC enhanced sustainment capabilities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT system
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in technical discipline. Additional five years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• At least three (3) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.

Security Clearance:

• TS/SCI with polygraph required. Most recent polygraph in the last seven (7) years required.
