Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to deliver High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities for distributed sites.

You will support HPC software to ensure operations across UNIX, LINUX, Windows systems and related networks. The role covers installation, configuration and maintenance of HPC software, and collaboration with the HPC Operations Team to provide robust, high-speed storage and network interconnects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science required in a technical discipline; an additional five years’ experience may compensate for the degree.
• Eight+ years’ experience in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading and supporting COTS/GOTS software across heterogeneous OS environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide HPC software support to keep HPC systems running in operations across UNIX, LINUX, Windows environments.
• Install systems and work with HPC workload schedulers and resource management software.

Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to provide High Performance Computing (HPC) services in the form of enhanced HPC sustainment capabilities.

Software Integration Engineers, who make up the HPC Operations Team, must provide High Performance Computing (HPC) services in the form of HPC enhanced sustainment capabilities to two geographically dispersed areas. These capabilities include:

• Multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and SPD servers.
• Systems running Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE and custom vendor-specific operating systems, with high-speed shared storage (lustre, and gpfs as examples), along with dedicated high-speed low latency network interconnects like Infiniband and Slingshot.
• High speed shared parallel storage utilizes LUSTRE to provide performant shared storage solutions between two or more HPCs in a data center.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide customer support for HPC software to enable High Performance Computers to continue to run in operations, and support the range of UNIX, LINUX, Windows Systems, desktop applications, servers, and networks required in support of the mission.
• System installation and working with HPC GOTS scheduler and resource management software

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in technical discipline. Additional five years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• At least eight (8) years’ demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment in addition to related degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
• Proficient with the following (as specific position requires):
  • Linux Shell scripting
  • Object Oriented Programming Language (C, C++, Java)
  • Python Programming
  • GCC compiler
  • Multi-threaded software
  • Parallel processing
  • CORBA, J2EE
  • Perl or JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management tools
