Accelera is seeking a Technical Field Support Specialist to be the primary technical expert for our laboratory instrumentation. You will ensure peak performance through advanced maintenance, onsite repairs, system upgrades, and comprehensive training across your assigned territory.

The role emphasizes autonomous work, travel to client sites, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve issues and drive customer success while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in AC/DC electronics, mechanical systems, and complex electromechanical troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional client relations.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on analytical and metallographic systems to minimize client downtime.
  • Manage the end-to-end installation process for new equipment and perform critical hardware and software upgrades.
  • Empower end-users by providing detailed instruction on instrument theory, operational best practices, and routine maintenance protocols.
  • Maintain operational excellence by managing regional inventory, documenting service activities, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Serve as a professional brand ambassador, upholding strict safety standards and site-specific protocols during every client interaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical challenges and contribute to continuous product improvement.
