Accelera is seeking a Technical Field Support Specialist to serve as the primary technical representative for our analytical and metallographic instrumentation. You will troubleshoot, install, and train clients to ensure optimal equipment performance and maximum uptime.

The role requires hands-on experience with high-precision systems, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and the ability to work independently in field settings across customer sites.

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree, trade school certification, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency reading electrical schematics and diagnosing AC/DC electronic systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial equipment installation and wiring.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote capacity with a high degree of accountability.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnostic troubleshooting on high-precision analytical instrumentation.
  • Manage the end-to-end installation process for new systems, including hardware integration and software configuration.
  • Deliver training sessions on instrument theory, operational best practices, and routine maintenance to clients.
  • Maintain inventory records, documentation, and technical reporting for service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement system upgrades and performance enhancements at customer sites.
  • Uphold high standards of professional conduct and safety compliance on diverse industrial worksites.
